Meet The Boss of Floss & Staff
Our History
Richmond Hill Dental Design Studio was founded in 2008 by Dr. Steven R. Cisternas, also known in town as "The Boss of Floss." Dr. Cisternas is a native of New York and attended St. Joesph by the Sea High School on Staten Island, graduating class of 1997. In 2001, Dr. Cisternas completed his undergraduate degree at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology. In 2002, he was accepted to Howard University College of Dentistry, located in Washington, D.C. where he completed his didactic and clinical course work graduating with the degree Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) in May of 2006. Shortly afterwards, Dr. Cisternas arrived to the community of "the Bronx" where he completed a one year General Practice Residencey (G.P.R.) at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in June 2007. Currently, Dr. Cisternas is in the process of completing a fellowship in the academy of general dentistry and is a F.A.G.D. candidate.
