Dental implants are permanent prosthetic teeth that are attached to a titanium post that is inserted into the patient's Jawbone. The titanium post will act as a root for the tooth and on top of the abutment will be placed a prosthetic crown that will exactly resemble a patient’s tooth. The crown will be composed of either ceramic or porcelain and can be color matched to your teeth.
